The City of Gomorrah, 2020 -

The dystopian metropolis is bustling and full of life. Tall sky scrapers are juxtaposed with the feeble slums that surround it. An unjust government rules the land with an iron fist. The rich are becoming richer, and the poor are increasing in numbers. Middle-class is now a thing of the past, and all the world's wealth is held by an oppressive collective.

The City of Gomorrah, 2025 -

To find resolve in the lifestyle clash of the wealthy populous and the increasing demographic of poor, the country’s most gifted and rich scientists invent one-way interdimensional travel. The entire poor populous is banished to their own reality where the world is the same as their previous, but they can never return to a society where wealth and power can be possible. For decades, the rich and the poor have lived separately in coexisting dimensions, the Sodom dimension for the rich, and the Meropis dimension for the poor. People from one dimension could never reach the other. The rich stayed rich, and the poor stayed poor.

The City of Gomorrah, 2040 -

Years later, Vincent, the son of the lead scientist behind interdimensional travel, and now the CEO of a multi-million-dollar business, has grown tired of the entitled rich public he lives with in the Sodom dimension, and develops sympathy for the poor who were sent to the Meropis dimension by his own father. Using his gifted knowledge of biomechanics and his father’s research, Vincent has imbued his own body with interdimensional technology which allows him to travel between the two dimensions at will. With his new-found power, he has taken it upon himself to redistribute the riches of the Sodom dimension by taking from the evil rich and giving to the less-fortunate patrons of the Meropis dimension. As to maintain his unsullied status in the Sodom dimension and avoid trouble from officials and media, Vincent adopts an alter-ego and goes under the alias, “The Duke”

The City of Gomorrah, 2042 -

After the first few years of training, Vincent is ready to take on his new role as a vigilante. He calmly stands up from his office desk chair, straightens his suit and tie, and he looks to the large windows that overlook the clean and unblemished city from his 120-story view. Without even thinking, he runs head first into the large central window, shattering glass everywhere and beginning his descent to the ground. Suddenly he vanishes in thin air, and then reappears in the Meropis dimension, adorned in his super hero suit, cape and hood fluttering in the windy descent. The Duke lands with a powerful thud on the decrepit concrete surrounded by broken buildings and grimy surroundings. They all looked to him. Before their very eyes… was their salvation.
